tree balls, angry finch, and A I musk

Is that a tennis ball in the tree?  Oh,  my mistake,  the gold finches are passing through.  Difficult to photograph, jumpy and nervous and fluttering always, they are kind of crazy and always look pissed off.  The tree looks like  flashes of yellow  arrows are attacking it. 

Then in a flash they disperse ,  quickly and purposely, in a panic. From below a large bird flies up out of the yard and off into the great unknown! It could be a mallard or a hawk. I only see its bigness and its white underwing.  The goldfinches are not coming  back.

 This is a regular finch, our everyday guy- unhappy  about losing his spot on the feeder or something, who knows what his problem is. Could be angry about easter rabbits and dead guy coming back to life, reckoning if you die , stay dead- the rule of nature. Breaking the rules is not tolerated. 

Excuse me, little finch, this is umurka-  rules do not apply...

Dennis just read a thing about the orange tub declaring this a "religious nation" and by religious he does not mean Muslim, only bible banging christian white folk, Espiscopalians preferably- blond ones....The stupidity is spectacular these frightening days. 

 Finch has the absolute best expression of pissed-offed-ness'

 

 

 It has been that kind of day- rain, dark cold quiet- The sort of day when nothing settles, nothing makes sense - looking out at the birds comes as the only form of entertainment. 

-find a place , a chimney top  would do, to weather out the rain and the blues. That is our nothing day. Watching Rachel get jiggy on trump and musk- hilarious that some clever genius hacked into the cross walk buttons in Northern California with a A I voice of Musk saying ridiculous things about himself and his POS tesla's.
